As we enter Week 4 of the college football season, it seems as if we know less than we did before the season began. If I were to ask people to name the best four teams in college football, I’d get a lot of different answers.
Alabama would likely be in everyone’s top four, though they had to hold on to stifle Florida’s comeback last week. Georgia is riding high off of their Week 1 win over Clemson, but that win is starting to lose a lot of luster. Dabo Swinney’s bunch is struggling offensively and, while winning, is falling in the polls. So are undefeated Notre Dame and Oklahoma, as well as Group of 5 darling Cincinnati, who went on the road and beat a Big Ten team but still dropped in the rankings.
What this means is we are getting a lot of new blood that feel they have a shot this season, which is great for college football. More teams to watch means more players get to shine nationally as the chess pieces move around. There were some fantastic individual performances last week and this week features two games pitting ranked teams against each other and eight ranked teams on the road, look for some exciting gems this weekend.
Here are 15 players to keep an eye on in Week 4.
