CAIRO, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) — Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Tuesday vowed to work for strengthening bilateral ties between his country and Equatorial Guinea in a way that serves the interests of both sides.
During a meeting between Shoukry and visiting Senate Speaker of Equatorial Guinea Teresa Efua Asangono in Cairo, the two officials discussed ways to promote bilateral ties and tackle crises in Africa.
They also discussed the establishment of a diplomatic academy, the launch of direct flights, the export of medicine and medical equipment, and the implementation of agricultural projects in Equatorial Guinea.
Asangono said she believed there were many opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.
