Most casual golf fans haven’t heard of Michael Block, but you’re going to hear plenty from him this weekend at the 105th PGA Championship.
The 46-year-old will not only be looking to be the first club pro to finish in the top 20 at the PGA since 1988, but following his second straight round of 70 at Oak Hill, he may very well enter the weekend on the leaderboard. He’s done so despite giving us one of the more relatable moments of the week, a shank on the 165-yard par three fifth hole that went hard right, hit a tree and just barely made it halfway to the green.
