KOTTAYAM: Former Kerala chief minister Oommen Chandy was hospitalised in Bengaluru with viral pneumonia on Friday.
“Father is back in hospital with viral pneumonia. Visitors are restricted. Seeking all your prayers,” his son Chandy Oommen posted on his FB page.
Oommen Chandy has been undergoing immunotherapy at the HCG hospital in Bengaluru for the last two months.
Recently, he had moved into a house near the hospital after he had regained health.
However, he was infected with viral fever the other day.
Viral pneumonia was confirmed in a detailed medical check-up at the hospital.
