Patterson Legal Group is pleased to announce that its law firm will host a backpack giveaway on Saturday, August 13th at the Sears parking lot at East Hills Mall from 8:00 a.m. through 9:00 a.m. During this free community event, 150 backpacks stuffed with school supplies will be handed out, while supplies last. The law firm decided to host this annual backpack and school supply giveaway for the third year in St. Joseph to help relieve some of the typical costs families must cover as they prepare for a new school year.

“St. Joseph School District has a history of struggling with chronic absenteeism. Knowing this, our team wanted to do something that could help struggling families prepare their school-age students for a new school year and get excited to learn. That is why our team decided to once again host a backpack and school supply giveaway in St. Joseph,” remarked Managing Partner, Gary Patterson. “Our hope is that each backpack we give away will brighten a child’s day, as well as provide some financial relief to their parents or guardians knowing that some of the items in each backpack can be checked off the Saint Joseph Public Elementary School supply list.”
