The head of the snake for our Week 14 Yahoo DFS tournament lineup is Taysom Hill, who reminded us how quickly he can turn a poor game in real life into a worthwhile fantasy performance. He’s complemented by what we feel is a strong group of skill position players that offer high ceilings without presenting too much of the “all-or-nothing” type of risk we’ll often assume with our picks when chasing for GPP success.

This might be one of our more chalky DFS lineups, but we like the configuration of potential earth-shattering production here.

  ​QB Taysom Hill, Saints @ Jets ($28)

  Hill completed 46 percent of his passes and tossed four interceptions last Thursday, yet, he still finished with 24.66 fantasy points thanks to 101 yards rushing. Keep tabs on the finger injury Hill intends to try to play through, as it could inhibit his passing accuracy and efficiency. It’s Hill’s legs that serve as the heartbeat of his fantasy potential, though, so he should still be able to rack up fantasy points against a poor Jets defense.

  ​RB Leonard Fournette, Buccaneers vs. Bills ($27)

  Fournette has been on quite a roll of late, and he followed up his 40.6-point eruption with a solid 18.7-point performance. Not only has he totaled five touchdowns over his last two games, but Fournette has also been busy as a receiver, catching 28 passes on 31 targets over his past four contests. The Bills will be on a short week and playing in warm conditions, perhaps setting the stage for Fournette to put up another gaudy fantasy score.

  ​RB Antonio Gibson, Football Team vs. Cowboys ($26)

  The Football Team has kept the volume faucet flowing for Gibson, who handled 28 touches in last week’s win over the Raiders. He wasn’t particularly efficient — 111 total yards — but he caught five passes and found the end zone through the air. J.D. McKissic (concussion) will resume his key role once he returns, but the Football Team have won four on the spin, and they’re not likely to stop feeding Gibson with plenty of opportunities this week.

  ​WR D.J. Moore, Panthers vs. Falcons ($20)

  The Panthers have hit a rough patch. They were annihilated by the Dolphins in Week 12 and fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady in Week 13. Moore is having a good season, and with Christian McCaffrey (ankle) on the shelf, he represents the best offensive weapon on the roster. It stands to reason that interim OC Jeff Nixon will do what’s necessary to get his best player the football as the Panthers try to keep their slim playoff hopes intact.

  WR Tee Higgins, Bengals vs. 49ers ($19)

  Teams that have tried to take away Ja’Marr Chase have learned that it’s not such a simple endeavor with Higgins on the opposite side. Higgins has drawn 22 targets over the past two weeks, scoring once in each game and surpassing the 20-point plateau in both contests. Chase will ultimately be the clear alpha receiver in this offense, but that won’t preclude Higgins from delivering his own dominant performances.

  ​WR Russell Gage, Falcons @ Panthers ($14)

  With Calvin Ridley (personal) sidelined and Kyle Pitts finding his way as a rookie, Gage has emerged as one of Matt Ryan’s most reliable targets. He’s received 27 looks over the past three weeks and scored at least 15.2-plus fantasy points in his past two games. With defenses focusing on Pitts and Cordarrelle Patterson, the Falcons will need to continue calling Gage’s number.

  ​TE George Kittle, 49ers @ Bengals ($23)

  This feels like recency bias after Kittle exploded last week (35.1 fantasy points), but there’s never anything wrong with banking on one of the game’s top tight ends. Deebo Samuel (groin) isn’t likely to be ready to contribute his typical load — if he’s active at all — and Kittle will be a major factor in the Niners’ game plan. He’ll certainly be central to the Bengals’ defensive plans, as well, but they’ve allowed the second-most fantasy points to tight ends.

  FLEX Javonte Williams, Broncos vs. Lions ($26)

  Fantasy owners and football pundits alike have been anxiously awaiting for Williams to earn his opportunity to lead the Broncos’ backfield, and he did not disappoint. Williams turned 29 touches — including six receptions — into 178 total yards, a touchdown, and 26.8 fantasy points on Sunday night. We may not know if Melvin Gordon (hip) is ticketed for a return until the weekend, but even if he’s active, Williams may have done enough to lay claim to the lead role for the rest of the season.

  ​DEF Chiefs vs. Raiders ($13)

  The Chiefs delivered 15.0 fantasy points against the Cowboys heading into their bye and scored 17.0 against the Broncos coming out of the break. The Raiders, meanwhile, have failed to crack 20 points in four of their past five and could be without their best player, Darren Waller (knee). Even if Waller manages to suit up and play at far less than 100 percent, the Chiefs and Raiders are moving in opposite directions, and it’s a spot where the Chiefs’ defense and special teams could wreak more havoc.
