Chirag Ambwani, who recently completed his B.Sc, was inspired to start his business after enjoying Jamun shots in Gujarat.

Chirag Ambwani, a young entrepreneur from Rajasthan’s Kota, launched a successful fruit shake startup inspired by his visit to Gujarat. Named ‘Short and Shake’, the venture quickly gained traction among local students and residents. Ambwani, who recently completed his BSc, was inspired to start his business after enjoying Jamun shots in Gujarat. Recognising a potential market in his hometown, he decided to offer a variety of fruit shots to Kota’s students and residents.

Launched four months ago, ‘Short and Shake’ features over a dozen flavours, including Jamun, Chilli Guava, Kiwi, Mango, Sitafal, Blueberry, Chocolate, and Strawberry. The shakes are prepared using fresh, frozen fruits without any chemicals. Prices for these shakes start at just Rs 30.

Ambwani said that he prepares all the fruit shakes at his home and his shakes are particularly popular among coaching students in Kota.

Currently, Ambwani operates his cart in front of Country Inn Hotel in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Coaching Area. He invested approximately Rs 1.5 lakh into the startup and reports selling between 70 and 80 fruit shots daily. Plans are underway to expand with additional carts in other areas.
