About Life Coffee Brewers (From the owner of the famous pizza brand 4P’s)
The café, which opened in April 2024, is conveniently situated on the ground floor beneath Pizza 4P’s on Hai Bà Trưng.
At the moment, it’s a cozy coffee spot with limited seating, mainly catering to customers looking for a quick takeaway.
About Life’s menu may not be extensive, but it offers a selection of classic Italian-style coffee beverages. You can enjoy Espresso-based drinks such as Latte, Cold Brew, and Drip Coffee.
The prices at About Life are quite reasonable compared to the average market rates. An espresso shot is priced at just 40k VND, while a two-shot Latte costs only 65k VND. It’s a great deal for the quality of coffee they provide.
Since its launch, the café has been hosting regular coffee-tasting events and informative sessions on various types of beans and coffee brewing techniques like drip brewing and hand-drip.
Address: Ground floor, 151B Hai Bà Trưng, Ward 6, District 3.
Saigon Coffee Roastery
The café, started by a well-known barista in Saigon, has two spots in District 1.
The decor really shows off the art of making coffee while creating a cozy vibe. Their menu is full of options, from Italian coffee made with Arabica beans to pour over, cold drip, hand-picked teas, and fresh fruit smoothies. The coffee has a special, delicate yet rich taste, especially in drinks like the Arabica latte with perfectly frothed milk that balances out the bitterness and creaminess.
They only use beans that are on display and hand-picked in the store, giving their coffee a unique flavor that you can only find at Saigon Coffee Roastery.

Bosgaurus Coffee Roasters (expensive but worth it)
Bosgaurus really stands out in Vietnam with its fantastic backstory and brand (you can find two awesome stores in Hoi An town). Every single cup of coffee is crafted with the utmost care, starting from the selection of top-notch beans to the spotless processing that results in a truly exquisite final product.
Driven by a deep love for Arabica beans in Vietnam, Bosgaurus is on a mission to raise the bar for 100% Arabica Iced Milk Coffee among Vietnamese coffee aficionados.
The café boasts a sleek, modern design predominantly in white, giving off a cool coffee laboratory vibe.
Handmade with Vietnamese beans, Bosgaurus offers two distinct styles: Fumme, which brings a mix of chocolate bitterness and peanut butter aroma, and Bigsmoke, a richer blend with chocolate notes, caramel sweetness, and a touch of smokiness.
These unique styles truly elevate the delightful taste of Vietnamese coffee.

On top of that, they also have a menu with sandwiches, English breakfast, and Italian pasta for those who want to grab a bite to eat with their coffee.

The vibe at Talk Barista Saigon is all about uniqueness. It’s not just a place to grab a cup of Joe; it’s a hub for coffee lovers to swap stories and skills about the art of brewing.
The menu might be on the petite side, but that’s because they’re all about top-notch quality over quantity. Each brew is crafted with precision and care, from classic picks like Cappuccino and Latte to Saigon-style coffee and cold brew. The coffee beans are handpicked by skilled baristas, ensuring every sip is a flavorful delight.

Okkio Tự Do (best view with good coffee)
Situated on the ground level of the historic Art Arcade apartment complex, Okiko Tự Do boasts a standout feature: its balcony provides a sweeping view of the City Opera House and Dong Khoi Street.
Okiko Tự Do is spread across a mezzanine and ground floor. The main attraction is its spacious bar area on the ground level, which limits seating along the two walkways.
Moreover, the seating in the four corners, the artisan coffee bar, and the balcony space is cozy and ideal for couples or groups. The staff is welcoming and attentive.
Address: 1st Floor – Staircase on the right-hand side – 159/1 Dong Khoi – Art Arcade Apartment, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City
Rang Rang Hồ Tùng Mậu (my fav is the Mojito espresso)
Rang Rang’s new location at building No. 25 Ho Tung Mau Street is a gem!
The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by the clever use of red brick walls and warm orange lights. The interior is bright and airy, thanks to the large windows and skylights that let in plenty of natural light. Plus, there are plenty of electrical outlets under the seating areas, making it super convenient for studying or getting work done.
It’s a great spot to relax and unwind!

Linea
The café sits cozily on a serene alley, Đỗ Quang Street, District 2, where the light flow of vehicles guarantees a tranquil vibe indoors.
Beyond the coffee counter, you’ll find two lengthy metal benches paired with petite tables lining the walls for guests. Given its layout, Linea might not be the best choice for those seeking a study or work spot.
Yet, if you’re after a spot to unwind and chat without interruptions, this could be your go-to place.

The Hummingbird Café
The Hummingbird excels in two key areas: its scrumptious freshly ground artisan coffee and its cozy, serene atmosphere perfect for focus.
With a primary focus on coffee, they serve machine-brewed, cold brew, and handcrafted options alongside various teas, juices, and delectable pastries.
Using specialty coffee beans for their brews, The Hummingbird also offers coffee beans for purchase for home brewing.
Top picks to savor:
- Iced Milk Coffee: a flavorful and aromatic delight that truly highlights their artisan coffee.
