An edutainment play park the little ones will love… 

If you and your little ones are fond of The Green Planet, you’ll have another great reason to visit as it will soon be home to the Middle East’s first-ever outdoor nature trail-inspired play park.

The new attraction will be an outdoor extension to Dubai’s popular indoor tropical rainforest and we can expect it to open later on in the year.  

What to expect?

The new adventure park will feature a tree house exploration trail, a botanical garden, nine flora zones, a kids’ play area and brand-new dining spots. The (brave) tiny tots will even be able to experience encounters with giant bugs.

Kids will go on the edutainment adventure with biologists who will guide them through and enlighten them about the world of creepy crawlies and their importance in our ecosystem.

We will be keeping our eye open on the opening announcement and we will let you know as soon as it is open.

Other summer deals at The Green Planet

Ever wondered what it’s like past closing hours at The Green Planet? Well, book your spot at Camping in the Rainforest and you’ll find out. Over the summer, The Green Planet will be pitching up tents where guests can enjoy a night’s stay under the tropical bio-dome which is home to 3,000 plants and animals. There will be plenty of educational activities, hearty feasts, wildlife documentaries, storytelling, games and much more.

But that’s not all. If you and the little ones are staying in town over the summer, consider booking them in for summer camp at The Green Planet. The unique summer camp runs from 9am to 2pm daily and is suitable for children from five years old to 12. Focusing on all things nature, children will be able to meet the animals, learn all about wildlife and plants through games and arts and crafts, and get behind the scenes exploring the rainforest. For an additional Dhs40 per day, campers can get a packed lunch from the Green Planet Café. Prices vary, find out more here.
