To no one’s surprise, ASUS both revealed and officially confirmed the SRP of the ROG Ally. Just as its initial puzzle hinted, the brand’s handheld console will retail for RM3,299, and it is only bringing in the SKU fitted with the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme.
With the ROG Ally officially going on sale, ASUS is also bundling it with a gift basket worth of accessories. The bundle includes a pair of ROG Cetra TWS earbuds worth RM529, a travel case for the console worth RM199, a 9-months PC Game Pass and Screen Protector combo worth RM272, and an ROG Gaming Charger Dock with an output of 65W worth RM299. Of course, this special offer is limited to just 100 units and will only be available for as long as stocks last.
That’s not all. For customers that buy the ROG Ally online for this period, they will also be able to take advantage of ASUS’ purchase with purchase (PWP) offer for an XG Mobile eGPU, fitted with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 mobile or AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT, for RM2,000 off from their original SRP of RM7,999 and RM6,999, respectively.
There is also an XG Mobile fitted with an RTX 4090 Mobile GPU, but that isn’t part of the ROG Ally’s special promotion. That unit itself retails for RM9,999.
If, at the time, of writing, you’ve missed out on the special online promotion for the ROG Ally, fret not. Come 1 July, ASUS will be hosting an experiential roadshow for the console, where the first 100 customers will be able to physically purchase the console and receive the earlier-mentioned bundle. Not only that, but those 100 customers will also be eligible to participate in an on-site lucky draw, where they stand a chance to win ASUS products worth up to RM6,999.
For those that miss out on both ROG Ally bundle opportunities, ASUS isn’t going to let you watch away empty-handed. Every unit sold after the first 100 units from 1 July onwards will still come bundled with the 9-months PC Game Pass offer, but that’s all you’ll be getting.
