The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is finally available in Malaysia, months after it was revealed back at CES 2023 this year. The laptop made headway as a dual-screen convertible laptop with both displays being OLED panels.

Specs-wise, the Book 9i has a starting weight of 1.34kg and a thickness of 15.95mm. Beneath the hood, the machine is powered by an Intel EVO processor. More specifically, it’s a Core i7-1355U CPU comprising two P-Cores and eight E-Cores, with a total thread count of 12 logical processors.

Moving on, other specifications of the Book 9i include 16GB LPDDR5X-6400 RAM that has been soldered into the convertible. It’s a fair trade, given that the laptop is already just 15.95mm thick. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, it weighs in at just 1.34kg, despite being all screen and no base.

That brings us to the parting piece of the Book 9i: the dual 13.3-inch 2.8K (2880 x 1800) OLED displays. Both panels are touch capacitive, have a peak brightness of 400 nits, and have a DCI-P3 colour accuracy of 100%. On that note, the form factors it can transform into is no less than six modes; there’s the standard mode, which you use as a laptop, followed by an extended display mode where both panels could be paired with a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse for maximum productivity. There’s also the Book Mode that, as you can guess, is activated the moment you orientate it into the self-explanatory mode.

There is also slide mode, where you can give a presentation on the Book 9i by simply mirroring your material that can be swiped either left or right, giving you complete control of the flow of the meeting. Of course, there is tent mode and tablet mode, both of which are part and parcel of a convertible laptop’s design. Ports-wise, the dual-screen laptop houses three Thunderbolt 4 ports. For its power, there’s a 4-cell 80W battery nestled in the base that, coupled with the Intel 13th Gen Core i7, Lenovo says provides up to 15.5 hours on single-screen use, and up to 10.5 hours with both displays active. Lastly, the Book 9i can be paired with Lenovo’s Digital Pen 3, although we are still unclear if the laptop comes bundled with it or if it is a separate accessory.

As the title says, the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is already available in Malaysia from RM9499 for the base model. If you’re purchasing the laptop via the official Lenovo website, you can customise the laptop although at this stage, the only option you can modify is what version of Microsoft Office you want and whether or not you want Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020 with it.
