After surprisingly getting released by the Arizona Cardinals last month, three-time All-Pro wideout DeAndre Hopkins is still without an NFL home. Both the Bills and Chiefs were reportedly interested, as were the Tennessee Titans, but one of the more interesting possible destinations for the 31-year-old receiver is the New England Patriots. The fit and need are obvious from both sides, but Hopkins’s fraught relationship with his former head coach and current Pats offensive coordinator, Bill O’Brien, stands in the way as a possible impediment. With Hopkins in New England on Wednesday, though, it was reported that there was “no animosity” between Hopkins and O’Brien. Whether or not that leads to Hopkins signing remains to be seen, but with his options seemingly dwindling, we may just see the unlikely reunion come to fruition in the coming days.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In NFL history, only 30 players have registered multiple seasons with 100 or more receptions, including Hopkins, who was frequently targeted in O’Brien’s offense in Houston. So with that in mind, how many of the 30 can you name in five minutes?
Good luck!
