OPPO launched its Reno 10 series last month and the brand is expected to release the lineup globally sometime in July. While the company has not officially announced anything yet regarding the upcoming launch, leaksters Sudhanshu Ambhore and SnoopyTech have posted what they claim to be the renders and specs of the global version of the Reno 10 Pro, the middle child of the series.
If the leaks are to be believed, then the global 10 Pro will sport a slightly different camera bump design as well as notably downgraded specs. For one thing, it is claimed that the phone will have a 1080p 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, down from its Chinese counterpart’s 2772×1240 OLED screen.

Moreover, it seems that it will be running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, the same SoC that’s in the vanilla Reno 10, instead of MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200. The global version is said to also contain only 12GB of RAM instead of 16GB as well as 256GB of storage.
As for the battery, it will reportedly be powered by the same 4,600mAh capacity but the charging speed that’s supported will be significantly reduced from 100W to 80W. The only advantage that the global version will have over the Chinese variant is the gain of IP54 dust and water resistance rating.
Aside from those differences, other specs of the Reno 10 Pro are expected to be the same, including the camera setup with a 50MP main sensor with OIS, 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide with a 32MP selfie shooter up front. On the connectivity side, it will support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
The OPPO Reno 10 series has already been spotted on the SIRIM database, so we can expect the lineup to make a local debut soon after the global launch. For pricing reference, the base model Reno 10 Pro retails for CNY2,899 (~RM1,870), but it could possibly be cheaper here given the downgraded specs.
