CAIRO — Egypt has so far taken in 121,000 Sudanese fleeing the armed clashes that broke out in Sudan on April 15, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

The data was revealed by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry during his meeting with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Filippo Grandi in Geneva earlier in the day, the ministry said in a statement. (Egypt-Sudan-Refugees)

JERUSALEM — The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Thursday that it had shot down a drone that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon.

TEHRAN — Iran unveiled and successfully test-launched on Thursday its latest domestically-developed ballistic missile, known as Kheibar, according to the official news agency IRNA.

With a range of 2,000 kilometers and a warhead capacity of 1,500 kilograms, the missile showcases a unique blend of strategic and tactical features, the IRNA said, adding the new weapon’s guidance and control system operates with “complete immunity” against electronic warfare attacks.
