Last week, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi expanded its product portfolio with the launch of Redmi A2 series in India. The series includes two models, namely Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+. The duo has expanded the company’s entry-level smartphone lineup. The sale is scheduled to begin starting today (May 23) from 12 noon onwards on Amazon e-commerce websites, mi.com and mi home stores. Redmi A2 series: Price, bank offers and colour options
Redmi A2 comes at a starting price of Rs 5,999 for the 2GB RAM + 32GB storage variant while the 2GB RAM + 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 6,499 and the 4GB RAM +64GB storage costs Rs 7,499. On the other hand, the Redmi A2+ is available only with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, priced at Rs 8,499. The Redmi A2 series comes in Sea Green, Aqua Blue and Classic Black colours.
There’s a flat Rs 300 off on the 2GB/32GB variant and Rs 500 off on the 4GB/64GB variant. Buyers can get an instant discount with ICICI, HDFC and Axis Bank credit cards and debit cards and EMI option as well.
Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ specifications
Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ sport a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution with 60Hz refresh rate and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. The smartphones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G26 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM.
Redmi A2 comes in 32GB and 64GB storage variants, while the Redmi A2+ packs only 64GB internal storage. The duo comes with microSD card support.
