Cairo, SANA- The Arab Republic of Egypt has condemned Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir’s storming of al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem with a group of settlers.

Wafa Agency quoted the Egyptian Foreign Ministry as confirming in a statement that the successive occupation incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque, aiming to Judaize it, will not change the existing legal and historical situation, in which Al-Aqsa is considered a purely Islamic endowment.

The Foreign Ministry called on the occupation to immediately stop its escalatory practices that lead to fueling tension in the occupied Palestinian territories.
