TEHRAN — Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kanaani announced on Friday that Iran has released two French nationals on humanitarian grounds.

The two men, Bernard Phelan and Benjamin Briere, were detained in Iran in 2022 and 2020, respectively.
