NEW DELHI: Delhi Capitals‘ Lalit Yadav stunned the Chepauk crowd with his stupendous effort on the field during the IPL 2023 match against Chennai Super Kings on Wednesday.
The right-arm spinner Lalit grabbed a sensational catch to remove CSK batter Ajinkya Rahane off his own bowling that even left the umpire Chris Gaffaney in awe of his brilliance.

Rahane came down the track, drilled it low and Yadav dived to his right to pluck a one-handed screamer and leave CSK reeling at 4/77 in 11.1 overs.
Rahane, who reinvented himself in the current season of IPL by adopting an aggressive approach, made 21 off 20 balls.
Coming to the match, Delhi produced a disciplined bowling effort but MS Dhoni’s late heroics helped CSK post a fighting 167/8 after opting to bat first.
Skipper Dhoni enthralled the crowd with his 20-run cameo off just 9 balls that included two sixes and a four.
