MALAPPURAM: Stones were pelted at the newly launched Vande Bharat Express train in Kerala’s Malappuram on Monday at around 5pm.
At the time of the incident, the train was passing through an area between Thirunavaya and Tirur.
The train continued its journey to Thiruvananthapuram and no one was injured.
“We were alerted by the railway officials. The investigation is on to trace the miscreants,” a police official said.
As per preliminary reports, the stones left minor scratches on some window panes of the train.
