The Liposuction 101 course includes patient selection, the use of tumescent liposuction, safety considerations, cannula choice and techniques to perform liposuction under local anesthesia. The course will also cover the use of power-assisted liposuction and energy-based technologies (i.e. ultrasound and radiofrequency), in combination. Currently, the in-person classes are taking place in Reno/Tahoe, Nevada, but will also be offered in Beverly Hills, CA, in the coming weeks with renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Kami Parsa.

The class is designed for any provider who is interested in learning the basics of liposuction. This typically may include dermatologists, non-core physicians or physician assistants and nurse practitioners who are interested in liposuction. The Liposuction 101 course has a virtual offering and a hands-on in-person section where attendees can view a live teaching case and work with the instructors in a cadaver lab. Upon successful completion, attendees will receive a certificate from Core Aesthetics. The classes will be held at 5588 Longley Lane in Reno, NV, and are in-person, over two days for each of the scheduled dates.

Dr. Erez Dayan completed his plastic & reconstructive surgery training through the Harvard Plastic Surgery program. During his training, Dr. Dayan gained extensive experience in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He is trained in a comprehensive range of plastic surgery procedures with a particular interest in facial aesthetic surgery, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and non-invasive treatments.
