MUMBAI: Vande Bharat Express, which will run between Mumbai Central and Gandhinagar from September 30 onwards, will take only 6 hours and 20 minutes to go between the two state capitals, and only 5 hours and 35 minutes from Mumbai to Ahmedabad.
In the schedule released by railways, it will depart Mumbai Central at 6.10am and reach Ahmedabad at 11.35am, taking only only 5 hours and 25 minutes while it will take 6 hours and 20 minutes to go between the two capitals. It will depart Gandhinagar at 2.05pm.

The fares for the AC chair car have been fixed at Rs 1,200 while the executive chair car will be priced at Rs 2,460. It will run 6 days a week, except Sunday.

In-coach infotainment
According to the railways, the Vande Bharat Express offers aircraft-like comfort and travelling experience.
There are reclining seats in all classes.

Every coach is equipped with 32” screens providing passenger information and infotainment.
