Reliance Jio recently launched the industry’s first unlimited prepaid plan to offer a complete month of validity. Called ‘Calendar Month Validity Prepaid Plan’, the plan costs Rs 259 and the benefit of this plan is that it comes with a monthly validity irrespective of the fact that whether the month has 30 days, 31 days or 28 days.

What this means is that users will have to recharge their Jio number on the exact same day every month. For instance, if you’ve recharged your Jio prepaid number on March 30, the next recharge will be done on the same day of the following month (April 30, May 30, June 30 and so on).

In terms of features, the plan isn’t far behind the other plans. It offers unlimited calling, 1.5GB data, 100 SMS per day and access to Jio apps and services. Reliance Jio already has around 5 other prepaid plans that offer 1.5GB data and to make it easier for you to choose whether the new Calendar Month Validity Prepaid Plan is a good choice or you should continue with the regular unlimited plans that the company has to offer.
