Varun Dhawan will soon begin shooting for his next with Nitesh Tiwari, but we now hear that the actor is also in talks with South director Atlee for a film. According to sources, “Varun has met Atlee and they will soon be working together on the Hindi remake of a South film. There’s a good chance that the film may be Vijay and Samantha starrer ‘Theri’.”

About two years ago, reports that suggested Varun Dhawan was approached for a remake of Atlee’s film. After this development, it looks like ‘Theri’ remake is going to be a reality.

At present, Atlee is working with Shah Rukh Khan and if all goes well, Atlee will go back to work on the Varun Dhawan starrer remake.

Apart from Nitesh Tiwari’s film, Varun Dhawan has two other films coming up – ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. Atlee has apparently said that if at all, he will work on Varun’s film after he finishes shooting his film with Shah Rukh Khan.
