ASWAN — Egypt’s police killed 12 “highly dangerous” criminals in the country’s southern province of Aswan, the interior ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

“The interior ministry managed, in the morning hours, to uproot the most dangerous armed gangs in Upper Egypt which were specialized in trading narcotics, and illegally exploring crude gold,” said the statement. (Egypt-Security)
