Amid a political slugfest over the Lakhimpur violence, the FIR registered into the incident has revealed that the murder charges have been levelled against Ashish Mishra, the son of MoS Home Ajay Kumar Mishra. Eight people, including four farmers, were killed following the violence that broke out after a car hit protesting farmers in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri on Sunday.
