London/Monaco, 8 May 2019 – These prestigious awards recognise the teams, products, innovations, initiatives and projects that demonstrate data centre and Edge and cloud innovation and service excellence.

The results selected by an independent international panel of expert Judges will be announced at the dinner and ceremony in Monaco on the evening of 4th June hosted by actress, model and charity campaigner, Joanna Lumley OBE. This ceremony is proudly sponsored by Awards Patron Vertiv.

Smart Infrastructure is a global opportunity and the world is experiencing rapid development of technologies bringing better performance at a lower cost. This has opened up the opportunity to add new sectors to the Datacloud Global Awards 2019. These include awards for the cybersecurity sector and the information security market, data centres shaping and enabling of Smart Cities, 5G deployment and innovation of IT architecture, design and data centre construction for Hyperscales.

Chairman of the Judging Panel Gerd Simon remarked that “The 2019 Datacloud Awards received the highest number of nominations so far.
