The Huawei FreeBuds 4 is its latest addition to its line of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Bluetooth earbuds. They feature open-fit active noise cancellation (ANC) 2.0 technology, studio-quality sound and all-day comfort.

Immersive listening

With the FreeBuds 4, you find a Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) composite diaphragm that supports a frequency of up to 40kHz. This delivers high resolution sound with no major quality loss and rich treble. Moreover, the earbuds are equipped with a 14.3mm dynamic driver that helps produce greater and more immersive bass.

The earbuds also feature Adaptive Ear Matching (AEM) technology, which is a first for open-fit earbuds. But automatically detecting a user’s ear shape and wearing condition, the FreeBuds 4 can optimise audio quality for consistency and high resolution.

Open-fit noise cancellation

The FreeBuds 4 uses a dual-microphone hybrid de-noising technology that helps improve noise cancellation. These microphones can accurately pick up ambient noise and avoid wind noise interference thus improving sound pickup sensitivity. This alone can cancel up to 25dB of noise when the feature is turned on.

Huawei has also designed multiple parameters to help the FreeBuds 4 achieve optimal noise cancellation. When turned on, AEM detects a user’s ear canal shape and wearing conditions. Thereafter, it assigns the best noise cancellation parameters from several data sets.

Feature packed

For first-person shooting games, the earbus can achieve a delay of 150ms in-game and can go as low as 90ms when the shooting action and sound are in-sync. The earbuds also feature intuitive controls for playback and calls. Build on its previous earbuds, they also support dual device connections on Huawei, Android, iOS or Windows devices. Any two devices can simultaneously be connected for seamless interaction.

The Huawei FreeBuds 4 will be available for pre-orders starting from August 5-11 priced at Dh569.
