ABU DHABI, UAE – The Manchester City Abu Dhabi Cup is set to bring excitement to the city with final preparations underway for the international youth football tournament.
With an expanded format and added entertainment and activities, this year’s tournament is poised to be the best yet.
Simon Hewitt, Tournament Director and Senior Manager Football Operations MENA for City Football Schools, stated that the tournament aims to promote both competition and enjoyment for players.
With over 1,700 players representing more than 13 countries, the tournament provides a unique opportunity for young footballers from diverse backgrounds to interact and learn from each other through the common bond of the sport.
This year’s tournament, to be held from 18-19 February in Zayed Sports City, will feature some of the brightest young stars from around the world competing to be crowned champions. In addition to the exciting football action, the general public can enjoy live entertainment and activities in the ‘City Village’ including performances, appearances by mascots and other activities.
