Intel University Esports – UET (November-December 2021) What Have We Done and What Awaits Us? The national operations of the Intel University Esports project, organized by GGTech in 26 countries, continue unabated. As Gaming in Turkey, we carry out the operations and marketing activities of Intel University Esports in Turkey.

What is Intel University Esport?

University Esports, a video games tournament league where the best players from each university face off for the national championship as a team, offers a new perspective on the amateur esports environment. More than 128 universities and more than 2000 players from these universities participate in the tournaments to be held within Intel University Esports Turkey.

Intel University Esports Turkey’s biggest goal is to strengthen esports and collaboration to contribute to supporting the personal and professional development of university students, to develop the talents and creativity of players, to create a university community that strengthens the values of competition with esports passion. Thanks to this collaboration, we support esports with all our strength and follow player improvements aswell.

What Did We Do in November and December 2021?

UET LoL Qualifying Tournament

The top 4  teams in the UET Lol Qualifying Tournament, which was completed at the end of November, gained the top-ranked advantage for the UET League of Legends Turkey Championship.

In the tournament, where talented players and tough teams faced each other and the tempo did not drop for a moment, Bahçeşehir University team BAU Raiders became the first team to make the final without losing.

Then all eyes turned to the Tree of Losers. Here we observed the fierce struggle of representatives who did not want to backfire on a second chance. At the end of the day, two representatives of Marmara University mobeseleriyitanır and RISE OF MARMARA, compete with each other to face off against BAU Raiders team in the finals.

Although it was the mobeseleriyitanir team that won the series in BO3 format with a score of 2-1, due to the health problems experienced by the team players, another team of the Losers Tree Final, the team of RISE OF MARMARA reached the final.

In the tournament, which defeated its rival RISE OF MARMARA team with a score of 3-0 in the grand final, Bahçeşehir University team BAU Raiders declared their championship in the tournament as undefeated.

With these results, the champion Bahçeşehir University team BAU Raiders won 4,000₺, the second-place Marmara University team RISE OF MARMARA 3,000₺, the third-place Marmara University team won 2,000₺, and finally, Boğaziçi University team Boun Revengers, who finished fourth in the tournament, won the 1,000₺ prize.

UET Clash Royale TURKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

The two players of Hacettepe University, Rangster and PICAKI, who made their mark in the finals in the tournament, which witnessed unprecedented matches since the group stage, the two teams fought to win the title of championship, as well as a 2.000 ₺ prize and more importantly to have the chance to participate the UEM European Championship Qualifications, which is a great first step to represent our country and university in the international esports arena.

Rangster – Hacettepe University was the side that reached the victory in the grand final, as a result of the struggles we followed with fierce matches, unimaginable tactics and strategies.

The UET Clash Royale Turkish Championship rankings and prizes are as follows:

1. Rangster – Hacettepe University – 2,000 ₺ and UEM Clash Royale Inter-University European Championship Qualifiers!

  1. 2. PICAKI – Hacettepe University – ₺1,500
  2. liw35 – Celal Bayar University – ₺1,000
  3. Bogachan – Nişantaşı University – 500 ₺

UET ROCKET LEAGUE TURKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

In the UET Rocket League Turkey Championship, the limits of competition, excitement and fun, as well as the speed limit, were exceeded and all this gave us a champion! YARMA, the representative of Boğaziçi University, was the team that sent dozens of goals to the opponent’s goal with their magnificent ball control!

In addition to grabbing 4,200 TL, which is the lion’s share of the total prize pool of 10,000 TL, they also qualified to participate in the UEM European Championship Qualifiers!

Karabük University representative Average Karabük Enjoyers, who came just behind the champion, took the second place and won 2,800 TL.
Bahcesehir University team BAU Raiders, right after them, finished the fight in third place and got their share of 2,100 TL from the prize pool.

Mtf RL, the representative of Marmara University, who ranked fourth in the crown  race, completed the tournament by winning a prize of 900 TL!

UET LEAGUE OF LEGENDS TURKEY CHAMPIONSHIP

In the UET League of Legends Turkey Championship, Bahçeşehir University representative BAU Raiders became the team that reached the championship by leaving behind the final series in which they were undefeated in the same way!

Uludağ University team Uludag Esports team, which came to the finals in the tournament with a great performance, took the second place!

Bahçeşehir University team BAU Raiders won 4.000 TL which is the lion’s share of the total prize pool of 10.000 TL, as well as qualified to participate in the UEM European Championship Qualifiers!

Similarly, Bursa Uludağ University team Uludag E Sports team completed the tournament in the second place and won a prize of 2,500₺ and also qualified to participate in the UEM European Championship Qualifiers!

Congratulations to both teams for their performance in the tournament and their perseverance for us, and we wish you success in the UEM European Championship Qualifiers!

UET VALORANT FALL TOURNAMENT

In the legendary tournament, during the 5-day live broadcast marathon where the support of the audience never ceased, the enthusiastic cheers overflowed from the chat and were almost heard it in our ears, the winning team was Marmara University representative Most Wanted!

Most Wanted, who managed to stay at the top by leaving all its competitors behind, won the glorious championship title as well as a prize of 2,500₺!

The Akdeniz University representative AU Black Scorpion team, who did not give up their claim for the championship until the last moment, completed the fight in the second place and returned home with 2.000₺.

Comu Conqueror – Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, which is one of the teams that followed right behind our top two teams, finished in third place and won a share of 1,500₺ from the prize pool of the fight, and Anti-Eco Losers – Karabük University that finished the race in fourth place got a share of 1,000₺.
