We’re on to Week 11, and in PPR leagues especially, we have to identify wide receivers who get cheap, easy targets or defenses that give up a lot of cheap, easy catches. That’s just what we’re aiming to do in our Week 11 fantasy WR PPR rankings, where you’ll find some season-long disappointments in the “sleepers tier” thanks to favorable matchups.
Byes take away the WR1, Cooper Kupp, in addition to Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, Van Jefferson, and Odell Beckham Jr., but Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Brandin Cooks, and more are back to carry some of the burden for the position as a whole. We’ll see if any of the receivers who have been hampered by injuries in recent weeks (DeAndre Hopkins, Antonio Brown, etc.) can make return to the field, too.
WEEK 11 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Chase and Higgins (@ Raiders) go against a top defense at stopping fantasy WRs, but Chase remains a must-start. You’re probably also starting Higgins unless you have a super talented WR corps. The same goes for a few other top-flight WRs in tough spots, including Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen (vs. Packers), Michael Pittman (@ Bills), and Diontae Johnson (@ Chargers). Hunter Renfrow (vs. CIN) is also still in play in PPR leagues.
WEEK 11 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Call us crazy, but we have DeVonta Smith (vs. Saints) ranked as a high-end this week. Yes, he’s been a letdown in the past, but the matchup can’t get much better and he’s on a real hot streak. New Orleans is a bottom-five team against fantasy WRs, and Philadelphia will likely be forced to pass given the elite defensive front in New Orleans. Rashod Bateman (@ Bears) and Elijah Moore (vs. Dolphins) look mighty attractive this week, too. If you have one or more of the three rookie wideouts, you’re probably in a good spot this week.
WEEK 11 FANTASY: Sleepers | Busts | Start ’em, sit ’em
Marcus Johnson (vs. Texans) looks like the Titans’ No. 2 WR with Julio Jones (hamstring) on IR, so he might be a sneaky upside play this week, too, but he’s far from the only “long-shot” play who could come through. Michael Gallup (@ Chiefs), Robby Anderson (@ Washington), and Jamison Crowder (vs. Dolphins) also have upside thanks to favorable matchups. Obviously, all come with varying degrees of risks, floors, and ceilings, but they can work as at least flexes.
WEEK 11 DFS LINEUPS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo
If you’re looking for some slightly “safer” borderline plays, you can try Jakobi Meyers (@ Falcons), Brandon Aiyuk (@ Jaguars), Christian Kirk and A.J. Green (@ Seahawks), Sterling Shepard, Kadarius Toney and Kenny Golladay (@ Buccaneers), and Darnell Mooney and Allen Robinson (vs. Ravens). As much as you might hate some of those players for the duds they’ve produced while in your lineups, they all face defenses who entered Week 10 in the top 10 in terms of fantasy points per game allowed to WRs.
WEEK 11 DFS: Best stacks | Best values | Lineup Builder
We’re avoiding Russell Gage (vs. Patriots), Tyler Boyd (@ Raiders), Ray-Ray McCloud (@ Chargers), and T.Y. Hilton (Buffalo). None are dependable to begin with, and extremely tough matchups make them virtually unplayable. Laviska Shenault (vs. 49ers) and Marvin Jones (@ 49ers) were hot names coming into the season, but they haven’t done enough to play them in PPR with any sort of confidence, even in a good matchup. Jamal Agnew probably has the most upside of any Jags receiver right now.
Watch out for injury updates throughout the week, as many banged-up players will impact these rankings.
