Xiaomi 12 series is expected to launch in China next month. The series is expected to consist of three phones — Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro and Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Ahead of the launch, the top-end Xiaomi 12 Ultra is tipped to come with a Leica-branded camera.
As per a report by Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi has partnered with camera company Leica for its branding on Xiaomi 12 Ultra. The smartphone is said to come in the second quarter of 2022, a bit later than the launch of other Xiaomi 12 series phones.
Xiaomi 12 series will be the company’s first major flagship product since it dropped the Mi branding. It is likely to feature a curved 2K display and may offer a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to offer up to 16GB RAM and may have up to 1TB of onboard storage.
The upcoming smartphone series is tipped to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset. It is also said to come with an under-display camera sensor.
As per a new rumour, the series may comprise of Xiaomi 12 Mini. Alleged poster of the device has leaked online, suggesting its likely specs and price. It is tipped to launch in December next year. The smartphone may have a 6.28-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. The phone may offer a refresh rate of 120Hz and 480Hz touch response. The handset is rumoured to offer 1500 nits peak brightness and it may support HDR10+.
Xiaomi 12 Mini is said to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor along with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. The device may pack up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage capacity. It is tipped to carry a starting price of ¥3599 (approx. Rs 42,000).
