Packers vs. Chiefs final score, results: Chiefs have first winning record all season after beating Jordan Love’s Packers

The Super Bowl I rematch between the Chiefs and Packers didn’t have much action. The Chiefs walked away with a 13-7 victory, and now have a winning record for the first time this season.

The Packers outplayed the Chiefs in regards to statistics, but rookie quarterback Jordan Love couldn’t get the Packers offense to connect. Aaron Rodgers missed his first start as a Packer since 2017. His replacement, Love, threw for 190 yards and one touchdown. Additionally, he had one interception.

The Packers had 301 total yards, while the Chiefs only had 237 yards. Green Bay had 19 first downs in 60 total plays with only one touchdown, which came in the fourth quarter with five minutes remaining in the game. Kicker Mason Crosby missed two field goals in the game, one going wide left and the other was blocked by Chiefs defender Alex Okafor.

The Chiefs only had 14 first downs in the game, with six of them being from their first drive that resulted in their only touchdown of the game. They only averaged 3.8 yards per play, which is the lowest average Patrick Mahomes has had in a game in his career. Mahomes only had 166 passing yards in the game, which is the first time he hasn’t reached 200 yards since Dec. 29, 2019 against the Chargers.

The Chiefs went three-and-out on four different drives, while the Packers went three-and-out on two drives.
