Ben Roethlisberger is “questionable” with a litany of injury issues for the Steelers’ Week 9 Monday Night Football matchup against the Bears, but the veteran QB is likely to be active. As such, there might not be a ton of interest in Big Ben himself, but any time a quarterback is technically a “game-time decision,” fantasy football owners will be checking for updates on whether he’s playing before finalizing their start ’em, sit ’em decisions.
We’ll continue to update this article with news on Roethlisberger up until the official active/inactive report comes out on Monday around 6:45 p.m. ET. For all the latest fantasy updates, follow us on Twitter @SN_Fantasy.

Is Ben Roethlisberger playing on Monday night?
Roethlisberger is a walking injury list, as he’s listed with pectoral, hip, and right shoulder issues. Despite getting in a full practice on Saturday, Roethlisberger is listed as “questionable” for Monday’s game against the Bears. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters on Saturday that Roethlisberger would play, though, taking some of the mystery out of his status.
WEEK 10 STANDARD RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Roethlisberger hasn’t been much of a fantasy factor this year, and in a neutral matchup like this, he’s not a great play. He still has two-QB/superflex value, but there’s no need to wait out Roethlisberger or force him into your lineups in single-QB leagues.
WEEK 10 PPR RANKINGS:
Quarterback | Running back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D/ST | Kicker
Overall, it’s still good news for fantasy owners if Roethlisberger plays. He’s a better QB for RB Najee Harris, WR Diontae Johnson, and TE Pat Freiermuth. Chase Claypool might benefit from backup Mason Rudolph, but it doesn’t look like Roethlisberger is in any danger of missing this game. Thet Bears D/ST is a decent sleeper play regardless.
