South-Asian Spotlight- Junaid Younus Talented Musician, Songwriter and Singer!

Junaid younus started his singing journey in 2006 as a lead singer / song writer for a band called “SIEGE” with the award winning song “armaan” or some say “na jene kiu” for which he won ARY Music Award in 2007-2008 and later he performed the same song in COKE STUDIO. He has traveled all around the world for concerts and presenting South Asian main stream and folk music to the world.

His first album with siege was called “POLICE” which was named after his Lux Style award winner song “PULS VICH BARTI” which he performed with film a actress Meera on stage on LsA too in 2010 ,

From 2006 till date Junaid younus has released few dozen hit songs , he sang for films like “Actor in Law” “Lahore say agey” and sang for hit shows like “coke studio” “Pepsi smash” “Lux Style awards ” and numerous life shows on live TV .

Junaid younus doesn’t only sing he has hosted several live TV shows like ” band banje ga ” for Pakistan televsion , weekend morning show for APlus network , Morning show for APlus serval live transmissions for all the TV networks .Juniad younus is probably only Asian to Host/ Emcee / present NOBEL PEACE PRIZE in 2014

He has been involved with alot of charity work too as brand ambassador for “Depilex Smile Again foundation” and “FOUNDATION FOR DIALOGUE FOR PEACE NORWAY” Junaid younus has done modeling for leading brands as brand ambassador for companies like CHINA MOBILE and acted for leading channels like ARY DIGIAL ,PTV , APLUS

Through out his career he has been interviewed by alot of international publications like ,”HARELD INTERNATIONAL” “GULF NEWS” “BBC” “OSLOTIMES” alot with several dozen local publications like THE NEWS , DAWN , ILs , dunya news , Geo news , etc
