With both the HTC Vive Pro 2 and Vive Focus 3, you get 5K resolution support, 120-degree field of view and real RGB sub-pixels. The former is focused on gaming and creation, the latter aims to redefine business virtual reality (VR).
HTC Vive Pro 2
With a stunning 5K resolution display and a 120Hz refresh rate, the HTC Vive Pro 2 is ideal for high-end gaming and creativity. Thanks to its dual stacked-lens design, it offers a 120-degree field of view and minimal motion blur. Hardware wise, it comes with an evenly distributed weight balance, an adjustable head strap and a quick-adjustable sizing dial. This way, it can adapt to your personal needs and others’. Moreover, the Vive Pro 2 comes with 3D spatial sound with Hi-Res Audio Certified headphones, and supports third party headphones too.
HTC Vive has also worked closely with NVIDIA and AMD to optimise Display Stream Compression, a first for VR headsets. This ensures maximum visual quality and backwards compatibility with DisplayPort 1.2. Furthermore, all Vive SteamVR ecosystem accessories including Vive Trackers of any generation, the new Vive Facial Tracker and more will work with the Vive Pro 2.
HTC Vive Focus 3
For business VR, the HTC Vive Focus 3 brings an ergonomic design alongside next level inside-out tracking and controllers. At the core, you still find the same 5K resolution display and 120-degree field of view as the Vive Pro 2 alongside a 90Hz refresh rate. But with a focus on design, the Vive Focus 3 comes with a new strap design, balanced weight distribution and a durable magnesium alloy frame.
The Vive Focus 3 also employs an intelligently designed battery pack which can be swapped in seconds. With support for quick charge, you can get 50 per-cent juice in just 30 minutes with an LED indicator letting you know how much power you still have left. As for audio, you find open-back speakers featuring a pair of dual drivers. These are contact free to maintain environmental awareness and also feature a special audio privacy setting to reduce the risk of being overheard.
Inside, the Vive Focus 3 is powered by a specially optimised Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 platform. It uses an AI-powered inside-out tracking algorithm for precise tracking, with privacy at the forefront. With its redesigned controllers, usage is intuitive with them lasting for 15 hours on a single charge.

The full-kit HTC Vive Pro 2 including the Base Station 2.0 and Vive controllers will be available for Dh3,399 starting July. The HTC Vive Focus 3 will also be available then for Dh5,590.
