Rabat — Covid-19 vaccinations scheduled for Saturday, 1st May are postponed to Monday, 3rd May, and will be administered in the same vaccination centers initially planned, the Ministry of Health announced Thursday.

The rescheduling is due to the celebration of Labor Day, which falls on May 1st, the Ministry explained in a statement, adding that people concerned will receive an SMS to inform them of the vaccination appointment.

The department stressed the need to continue to comply with preventive measures before, during, and after the vaccination, to contribute to efforts to control the spread of the virus, particularly following the discovery of new variants in Morocco.
